Bio: David is a Canadian 400m hurdler who broke through onto the senior national scene in 2026. The Ottawa-based athlete lowered his personal best to 49.92, moving into the Canadian all-time top 10 in the event, before capturing his first senior Canadian championship in the 400m hurdles.

His breakout season earned him selection to represent Canada at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, his first senior national-team appearance. He previously represented Canada at the 2025 FISU World University Games and has also shown impressive range, running a 400m PB of 46.76 in 2026.

A University of Ottawa athlete and member of the Ottawa Lions, David’s rapid progression—from a 400m hurdles PB above 53 seconds in 2025 to sub-50 and a Canadian title just one year later—has established him as one of Canada’s emerging talents in the event.
